During school, I'm busy, lifeless and loaded with so much of work. I'll miss holidays. But now that holidays are here, I'm so free and bored. I miss school now. Argh. Nothing is satisfying!I am working and all but it's just a few days a week. And I do go out once in a while. Hmm, you know what's the best? Dance practice! Can't wait, can't wait.
I love dancing. Since young. I guess it just runs in my blood. Let's just go through my dance history.. briefly.
During kindergarten..
This was taken for one of my school shows. My first time dancing on stage. (:

When I was in primary school, I didn't dance that much. So after a good, long 6 years break, I started dancing again,
In Secondary school..
This was where I slowly learnt how to choreograph dance. I was also in the Indian Dance CCA. Sadly, I haven't taken much pictures of them. ):
In Polytechnic..
I thot I would give myself a break from dancing. Little did I know that there was something bigger waiting for me. RAGAZZA.
I made new friends in poly. One of which, Ramija. We became pretty close friends. One day she just randomly brought up the idea of opening a dance group. And that was a start.
Ramija brought in both her cousin Nazreen, and her fren Azizah into the team. We invited another one of our poly frens in as well, Chitra. I introduced my elder sister, Nithya. And Nithiya introduced her friend, Mathana. A bit confusing eh? Haha.
7th July 2007. Ragazza was born. With us 7 dancers, the pioneers. In case you were wondering, 'Ragazza' means 'Girls' in Italian.

In my team, some of us share the workload, from costumes to choreography. I am indeed proud to say that I am in charge of choreography for my team. It has been a very big challenge to me from the start, still is. It also made me realize my capability.
**At this point, I just want to make a note to everyone. Hardwork always pays off. And if the credit is meant for you, you will get it. Please DO NOT ever take the credit for someone else's hard work. I'm saying this because it has happened in our team. Don't wish to name anyone.**
But whatever it is, I am more than happy to be the backbone of my team and I will do my best. So will my team mates. ChakDe Ragazza!
In 2008, I introduced one more person to the team. Tharshiela, my secondary school mate, cousin, fren. That was the good news. Bad news was, Azizah wasn't part of the team anymore. Well, that's alrite. We're meant to have just 7 dancers, I guess.
We have taken part in 3 competitions so far. The latest one was Dance Arena Y2K 2008. It took place in Singapore Polytechnic but organized by someone else. We got the 5th prize out of about 15 groups or more which was a pretty good achievement for us within a year.
Here's the link to our dance video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gpx_q7GrRo8
And btw, in the picture below, if you think you spotted 2 guys among 5 girls, then you are wrong. Cos, all of them there are girls! 2 of them were made up like guys for the dance. Haha!
