My Love Love!

Hello0o..

I didn't blog for just a few days and there are more things to tell you now.

It was Amala's birthday the day before yesterday! **30th March** You must be wondering who is she. Well, she's one of my best friends! I have three best friends altogether. Here she is..

Hmm.. I shall tell you more about her first.

Ive known her since kindergarten. Wow, thats like almost 3 quarters of my life till now.. I was friends with most of them there as well as Amala.. But wasn't very close. There were a few memorable incidents though. They had Indian Dancing there. It was sthg like a CCA. And of cos, I was part of it and Amala was too. There's this picture of me and her I so wished I could scan and show you.. But she will kill me for sure! It was taken for one of our performances. She was kinda exposed. Hahas. Your gold outfit rmbr? Shall I sabo you anot ah? Hmm, for me to decide. SOON. =D

Then there was once I was playing with the scissors and running around the classroom when I accidentally cut her finger. Best part was, I didn't even realized I cut her. She didn't cry too. But stupid teachers unnecessarily brought the issue to the supervisor. Grr..

After some time, Amala was on MC for quite long. When she came back, she had a huge bandage around her forehead cos she had met with a road accident. Her story was quite "Oh my Gosh!"-ish. When she was on one side of the road, the car was pretty far away. So she ran across but as a result of her miscalculation.. *BANG!!* She told me that she was being dragged by the car by her clothes I think before the car came to a halt shortly. Oh my god! When she got up, she had a deep cut on her forehead and was bleeding. But she bravely told her parents that she was alrite and tt she wants to go home. Wow. Till now, she is still the same old, Amala. With guts. Woo!

After that, we lost touch in different Primary Schools.

And then we met again in Jurong Secondary School ((: I got so excited when I saw her at the bus interchange on the first day! I was relieved as well that I don't have to enter the school looking blur and lost, now that I had a company. Little did I know that my first few years of relationship with her was going to be sour. We didn't quite get along at the start, during Sec 1 and 2. I dono how it was for her but I regretted going to school everyday cos of that. Sigh. Then it turned out to be better for me in Sec 3 and 4 when she understood me better. Everything was fine after that. She became my bestie. And I love her loads.. till today!

Right now, we are in different schools, She in Ngee Ann, Im in SP. But we still keep in touch. But there was sthg that happened recently that upset me so much. She went for a trip to Vietnam for 10 days.. and she didnt tell me. Hmm.. nvm.

Back to her birthday. Me and 2 of my sec sch frens went to another one of our friend, Sathya's house He was our schoolmate in Jurong Secondary School and also her neighbour, living just 4 floors above her to celebrate her birthday here. Sathya cooked a few dishes and baked a cake too. The cake was really nice Good job! but the dishes were a little too spicy.. Hahas. I bought amala a nice, feminine, flowery, spaghetti top. So NOT her but she still has to wear it! At least with a cardigan on top. Hmm besides all that, had fun seeing her and talking to her after such a long time.

All in all, I missed her loads. Great to have her back again ((: Loves.. Take care.

Announcement Announcement!

Attention to all Ice-Cream Lovers.

Enjoy! ((:

Jayshree Susanna's Bdae BASH!!

Hello!

Ok you know what, today Im gona super back track.. all the way to 13th March 2009. It was my closest cousin Jayshree's 21st Bdae Party!

Here's a little intro abt her. Since young, we kinda didn't clique. Always fought. Most of the times cos of me and my big mouth. And both of us were hot tempered so no one will give in. But as years went by, our relationship turned out to be a much sweeter and precious one. She became my best friend, my closest cousin, my mentor, my idol and my darling angel! Someone very very dear to me.

U noe some ppl say we super look alike? Hmm. Here, Be my judge.

It was a surprise bdae party.. Entirely organized by her someone special! It wasn't only a happy day for her, but for every single person who attended the party. Due to circumstances, her family did not celebrate her 21st. But her someone special put in so much effort and made it so grand that, even if her parents had organized it, it would NOT have been this great.

Not joking, not exaggerating. It the truth. Cos everyone there were people who were very close to her heart. Whereas in a party organized in a hotel, big ballroom or sthg, how many ppl out of those hundreds have close relationships with you and bless you heartfully on your bdae? Thats the difference. The GREAT difference. You'll always be blessed for your good heart. Love you loads and loads and LOADS!

She was blindfolded during the drive to the chalet.

Once she reached the chalet and saw what was awaiting her, she was kinda touched.. Aww.. Dont cry swthrt (:

There's her someone special! See the big thing covered in blue cloth at the corner of the pic? Wana know whats that?..

It's a Treasure Chest! It's filled with 21 presents on her 21st birthday! All by her someone special. Sigh.. How lucky you are. *Snorts* Okok. I better stop being jealous. =D

And that's me feeding her the cake..

That's the card I did for her.. It reads "J" and "Shree" (in tamil) in green and silver.

After all that cake cutting and feeding sessions, we had dinner, games and of cos the Dance Floor! Woo.. Sweating it off. In a dress sumore! But nvm la.. still had fun. Hahs!

Whenever some good stuff happens, some bad stuff accompanies too. Jus like her bdae. She went home the next morning only to get scolded by her parents for not returning home early. WTH?!She's already 21 for god's sake.

If she were to leave her house again to go back to the chalet, which was what she was planning to do, she will be locked out. They won't celebrate and will not let her celebrate too. Dots. But of cos, she wudn't listen. She went back to have fun. C'mon ladee, it's ur bdae! The next day, nothing happened. Hahas. No comments lar.

As long as she enjoyed that day. We're ALL happy for her. Love ya!

Confessions of a Shopaholic Rating: 3 stars

Dear Bloggie (sounds like froggie)..

I went to watch Confessions of a Shopaholic today.. As I told ya earlier in my first post. . Ever since school closed, today was when I met them next. Was great.. Miss you ppl.. Syawal (Wals), Aileen(Leen) and Aqmar told me they couldn't make it initially. So, Jov, Lee Yan and Me decided to go for the movie. But today when I went to meet them, Wals and Leen were there too (: They came to join us before the movie. We also discovered something else. Wals couldn't make it cos he didnt have enough cash. But he spent part of it on Hannah Montana! Wals.. Our frenship is worth lesser than Hannah Montana ahz :( Hahas. Okok dont angry k. We also know you skipped someone's funeral (you were suppose to attend) to meet us. Sama Sama *maju kehadapan..* alredi. ((:

Aileen! Hahaha! I missed you, especially your speeches! Like today..

1st try-- Aileen: The New York thing..

(Priyaya enters the scene.. So everyone's attention kinda diverted.)

2nd try-- Aileen: Ya so the New York thing..

(Everyone laughs. Somewhere in the midst, start planning what to eat)

3rd try-- Aileen: So getting back to the New York thing..

(Everyone laughs again and starts leaving one by one to buy food. Left with only Lee Yan.. LOL!)

Hahaha.. Ure a joke really. And you've been missed too. Hahas. Looking good in ur new hairstyle pretty pretty.. Oh yes. If you compliment someone, u wud be expecting a "Thank You" at least right? But no. This girl here replies you with "EEee.." or "You blind or wat!" Hahas.. A weird and interesting girl.

And now, The movie. As you can see from the title, my personal rating would be 3 stars only. Guess I just had high expectations for the movie after reading the books. They kinda rearranged the parts. And certain parts were removed. Made it a little less interesting. However, they managed to find actors and actresses similar to the book's characters. Kudos for that!

Rebecca Bloomwood, hers was nice. She fitted the "I-Am-A-Shopaholic-I-Know-I-Need-Help-But-I-Love-Being-a-Shopaholic-So-I'll-Just-Refuse-The-Help" role. Haha.

Luke Brandon (on Rebecca's left) , was also similar in terms of personality (appearance, dressing, presentation etc) and character (workaholic etc).

And yes not forgetting Ms Alicia Bitch Long Legs. That was the best suited character..Haha! God, that woman sure does have long, slim legs. She sure did fit the bitchy role as well.

OK that does it for the movie.

My dance practices have started. So has my bodyache. The effects of dancing after slackin' for a long time. So Im a teeny bit more tired than usual today.. Turning in now.. Nights

dAnCE at ACE

Hi hi hi..

Before I start on this entry, I wana backtrack abit on Rose's birthday cos I just got the pictures from Laurene. ((:

From bottom left: Laurene [my close buddy since secondary school, now in SP too! Love ya loads gal (:], The birthday girl, Thinesh [the great cook. hahas (: ]

From top left: Gayatri and Shobana [They're sisters.. Got to know them on that day itself], Fazillah [this girl is such a sweetie.. Love ya too sweets (:] and of cos, ME [I love myself.. Gee ((:]

Snap snap! Me and Laurene.. As I said, she was my best buddy since Sec Sch. One of my seniors. But after I knew her, never treated her that way. She became one of us. Seriously, very cute girl. We tease her so much sometimes. But she will just laugh about it. Hahas. But in the midst if I had said something and hurt you unintentionally, I'm sorry yea? Hey, she is a great dancer too. If you noticed, she is one of the girls in the dance picture taken in my Secondary School (in the post all about "Dance"..Think its the second post). Now we're both in SP and in the same block as well! We bump into each other so damn often in Foodcourt 6 and NEVER FAIL to say this dialogue, "Babe we should meet soon" But I tell you, that day will never come if not for occasions like this. Hahas. Laurene, Laurene. Funny. Now you see why I tease her? =P

Anyways, this was taken in a rush cos I had to meet my dad who came to fetch me. But still looks good yea? Thanks to Lollie (Jus feel like calling u this. My nickname for you! =P)

My sweetie pie! Our first meeting was on New Year's Day 2009.. She got introduced to us as Laurene's and Rose's friend.. She barely knew us, yet she baked chocolate chip muffins for all of us! It's not the action, but the thought. It just creates a very good impression of someone, first hand. Never would've striked me to do such stuff. And I tell you, the muffins were damn good. Think I ate the most. Whoever your other half is gona be, that guy is sure lucky ((: Hahas. So yea, that was where it started. Second meeting was at Rose's party. I hope there will more times we will get to meet yea, sweets?

Ok so that's the end of back tracking. Back to my current post..

I went to ACE ytd! Wondering what it is? It's an Indian Club.

Hmm.. For those who don't quite know me that well, here's something. I do drink. Not on a frequent basis. Only whenever I get to. I can count the number of times I've drank so far which is about 3 or 4 I guess. But whenever I do, I drink quite a lot. Jus to let myself loose and free of everything in my mind.. But no worries. I don't do it blindly, only with ppl whom I know of very well so that I'll be well taken care of. For instance, this time I went with my family.

I had great FUN too! The dj was damn good. Playing all the "powerpacked and happening" songs. So I just hit the floor till my legs ached.. Oh my gosh. It was then that I realized that I had missed dancing so much! (The last I danced was in October 2009 for a TV performance) I was all dressed very nice and elegant (sorry didn't take any photos ): ) but was dancing as though there was no tomorrow.. Hahas. Both my mom and sis were sweating it off as well. After so many years, I danced with my mom ytd. God. She was full of energy and vibrancy. Actually, I'm not surprised. Cos I know that I have this natural dancing talent running in my blood cos of her. Had a GREAT time. Both of them made my day. Love yawl!

Ok then, Im off. *Yawns* Nights bloggie.

Yavarum Nalam-- Hale and Healthy

Hey Bloggie Bloggie..

I got my results today. I have both Good news and Bad news. Dots.

Sem GPA was very good! =D

But cumulative GPA is still low. =(

I totally regret slacking during my first year. No matter how hard I work now, my GPA is still low. Sigh. Let's just see how high I can hit by the time I graduate. Hoping for the best..

[Back to my daily entry]

Im feeling very shitty now actually. Having flu cos of the stupid weather. Beat that. Spoils my mood. GRR..

I've started working alredi.. as a Dance Instructor. Sthg I have been doing since last year.. To switch roles and teach a class is very different. Cos I've only been taught all my life. Teaching Primary School students is a pleasure. I taught a Buddhist school in which there were mostly all Chinese students. But despite that fact, all of them welcomed and were very interested in a dance of a different language and genre. I loved that. I couldn't wait to see my students each time during practice. I had to wake up early and travel a VERY LONG distance. But my students kept me going. I miss you guys..

However, it turns out to be the other way round for Secondary School students. I teach two different classes. One is noisy but FUN while the other is noisy AND REBELLIOUS They simply refuse to dance! I mean if it was me, I would enjoy every bit of it! I never had such opportunities when I was in Sec Sch. And quite surprisingly, the REBELLIOUS class happens to be in a better stream than the FUN class. It just tells me two things.

  1. Smart students may not necessarily possess good attitudes.
  2. Being smart isn't everything. If you ain't got a good attitude, then sorry to say, you're a loser, lost in life.

Hope they realize this early. Can't wait to see my FUN class next week! =D

On Tuesday, we celebrated Rose's birthday (: You must be wondering who's she right? She is Ragazza's 1st and No.1 Fan! You'll be able to hear her screaming in the Dance Arena video. Haha. If Jovis and gang can rmbr the competition in Woodlands CC, they should be able to recall her.. The LOUDEST person there screaming for us.. Can rmbr?

So yes, it was her birthday and we all went down to her terrace house near the Pasir ris beach How cool is that? ((: Over there, Rose was all dolled up by all her girl friends.. Looking good, smelling sweet.. Great job girls ;) And yes the food, it was a steamboat dinner.. Dono where you guys get all this ideas from. But it turned out damn well! I ate A LOT.

Thanks Thinesh, for cooking most of the steamboat stuff Very nice of you girl, and my darling Fazillah for the Currypuffs and dearest Laurene, for the Brownies! And for the rest who's mouth shud have been watering by now, I guess you just missed out on a lot of stuff. Too bad.. Haha!

Today, Wednesday, My mom, Nazreen and me went to watch the latest tamil horror flick, "Yavarum Nalam" which means "Everyone is fine/well". Compared to other tamil horror films where the ghost will appear in super thick white powder, weird contact lens and funny make up It's hilarious you should watch it, this movie definitely had a higher standard. But it wasn't that very scary still. The visuals were much better and the sound effects did the trick. Cos they were way too loud! Aiyo. I know ghost movie la but lower down a bit leh..

Guess that's about it for today. There's dance class tmr. Have to turn in now so that I have the strength to scream tmr. So Good Night everybody..
